MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Frank Madariaga

My name is Frank Madariaga and I have been a member of the management committee at Prudentia Education Ltd for just over three years now.

I felt obliged to become involved with Prudentia Education in the hope that we would be able to maintain and raise the current levels of alternative education and training, ensure that it continues with the fantastic work the staff and volunteers achieve on a daily basis and raise its profile. I am a firm believer that all children should have equal access to education and training opportunities.

I have always had a keen interest in supporting individuals and groups within the local community and set up my own business, Neurological Employment Services in 2014 with the aim of supporting people with a diagnosis of a neurological condition in employment.  Passionate about my work, I strive to raise awareness and understanding about disability in the workplace, education and everyday life.

My previous employment history includes management, human resources, training and development and advisory roles within the charitable sector, retail, motor factors industry and the civil service (DWP).

I have worked in the voluntary sector for 30 + years. Mainly in the area of finance with organisations such as Charles Wootton Technology Centre, Merseyside Skills Training and South Liverpool Personnel.  I am currently employed by Greenbank College as Deputy Finance Manager, where I have been for the past nine years.

I have worked with disadvantaged, disengaged and disabled youth within many of my job roles. I have also had experience with various funding bodies.

For a number of years I was a volunteer board member for Stanley House Football club and was instrumental in obtaining their charity status and acquiring funding for residential excursions for the club members.

My interests are singing with the Tone Rose’s Choir and spending time with my family, particularly my grandchildren.

I am pleased to be a member of Prudentia Education’s Management Committee and feel that my skills and experience can help them continually develop.
